This was a relaxing vacation that Kirk & I took by ourselves. We started out by flying into Orlando and taking a Carnival Cruise out of Port Canaveral Florida. After such a great experience on our first cruise, we did not expect the Titanic-type of experience we had getting to the Bahamas! We have never seen waves so high in our life! Ugh. We spent the entire first night playing cards in our cabin to pretend the bad weather did not exist. Over 50% of the crew was seasick...and those are the people used to that weather.  After that, it was "smooth sailing" in the Bahamas and back. We then spent 4 days in Orlando to relax and visit some sights at Disney World. We also got to visit Kirk's cousin Bonnie & her husband that live in Florida. Life is good.

We went to an impromptu Faith Hill concert at the opening of Hard Rock Live Orlando! We just happened to have dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe that night and ended up getting front row tickets! Hard Rock is located right at the entrance to Universal Studios where we had spent the entire day.
