Ah, Mommy at last!
Life is Great! It is November-2004 as I write this. Kirk &
I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary this year in May! It has only gotten
better for us, as our lives and spirituality has grown together over these
years. We could not be happier with each other and where we are in our lives
today. Kimmy has brought joy (and adjustment!) to our lives. She certainly
makes us realize that life is a true gift to enjoy!

I am happy to share some of the fun pictures to celebrate life and
happiness along with you! ENJOY!

On August 10,2004 I began a new job with Sandcastle Investments in New Berlin. I will be a "QuickBooks Specialist" handling all
of the bookkeeping for this small (and growing) company. I am actually excited
to go into an office 3 days a week. It was getting hard to have work in front of
me all the time at the house. I take Kimmy to the babysitter who lived next door
to us at our old house. It is only about 10-15 minutes away, and Kimmy LOVES
Cindy and all her friends that she plays with there. We could not be more
comfortable with the situation.

In June, we had another fantastic visit with the Boivin's! Unfortunately,
the kids were not able to make it to Wisconsin for this trip. But Fern and
Mark came and spent a great 3-day weekend. This was the first time they met
Kimmy...so they oogled ALL weekend! It was great! For more pictures of their
entire visit, click HERE. |

In October 2001, the "Bayfield" girls (Or "Biker Chicks", as some may refer to
us) reunited! However, we went to Lake Geneva this year instead of going 8
hours north. Lake Geneva is only an hour south of Milwaukee, so it was an
easier trip for everyone. It had actually been since 1996 that all six
girls were together! Four of us girls spent the night at a resort/spa near
the lake, and relaxed in the whirlpool. The other two girls joined us in the
morning for breakfast and Starbucks coffee. We had a great day of shopping
and picnicking by the lake.
A lot has changed since our first trip as all single women in 1993.Three of
us are now married and have one baby each (But another on the way for Beth
G.!) Many career changes and life changes for everyone! We all still love to
get together and talk about life as we know it, and share our hopes and
dreams. We hope to be able to keep getting together as the years go on.
Maybe not every year...but hopefully not as long as 5 years to go by!
I will keep you posted! |

My best friend from Bryant College, Sue Conti, came to visit us last June
for a long weekend. It had been 2 years since I had seen her, and she had not
been to Wisconsin since we got married 7 years earlier! Needless to say, we had a
lot to catch up on. But it did not take long to feel like we had seen each other
just yesterday. Although it was hard, Sue left her husband and two beautiful
little girls at home so we could catch up and relax with Girl-Time! This
September, we will be celebrating 23 years of friendship! |
